*From 1995-2025, Rocky led Gabbart & Woods Tahoe Partners, a mid-sized structural engineering company with offices in Incline Village and Truckee. During this time the professional engineers in the company produced almost two thousand regional projects of all types, including airport facilities, education facilities, retail, offices, restaurants, resorts, and architecturally significant residences, from Old Tahoe Lodge to steel, glass and concrete Modern. The company also specialized in working closely with local builders and designers on smaller projects of all types, including log homes, remodels and additions. Several of the professional engineers from Gabbart & Woods now comprise Canyon Studio, a collaborative structural engineering group that Rocky helped create.
